NASA prepares to experience on a small asteroid collision threat to Earth, NASA set up a scenario similar to the disaster may realistically occur.

And NASA is expected to participate and a number of other international organizations in that experience, do those exercises; to ensure that real fast and effective responses as possible.

Said Lindley Johnson, NASA: ' these exercises will help the community defend planets to understand what our colleagues in the area of disaster management need to know '. ' This exercise will help us develop more effective connections with each other and with our Governments. '

NASA and other organizations spent over 20 years in the clear sky for near-Earth objects, searching for asteroids and comets that 30 million miles from Earth's orbit, in order to determine the risk posed by these bodies on the ground, and determine how to meet them.

As part of that mission, officials will apply such a scenario in an attempt to show how the Earth, through the reaction of neo observers and officials of space agencies and emergency managers and decision makers and citizens themselves.

The exercise began on March 26, where astronomers announced that near-Earth objects that might be dangerous, and by following them for a few months, they have a 1% chance of hitting Earth in 2027 — opportunities that require action by the people on the ground.

Participants will discuss possible preparations, how they can explore the asteroid, and how best to spend it and deal with its effects.

NASA has already participated in such exercises, where she worked with another with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). This brought out representatives from a variety of different federal agencies, including the ministries of defense and the State of America.

Previous exercises showed that emergency management officials did not focus on details. Instead, they just want to know when, where and how an asteroid will hit the Earth, as well as the type of damage that occurs.

NASA continues to work on this flag, in an effort to improve human capacity to predict the exact location and determine the effect.
